The DuVela System
Most rehab starts with exercises. We start with clarity.
Every DuVela plan runs through the same four phases: Reveal, Restore, Reload, Reinforce. What changes is what your assessment finds, and how far you want to take it. The goal isn't only getting you out of pain. It's getting you back to what you do, stronger than you were, and set up to stay there.
Where this takes you
Four phases. One solution.
Each phase exists to move you to a specific place. Together they're the whole arc, from the day it hurts to the point where staying active is just how you live.
Know what's driving it
A clear answer on why it started and what has to change.
Out of pain
Symptoms drop because the dysfunction underneath them is corrected.
Back to it, stronger
Tested against real demand, not discharged on a good week.
Active for life
Programming and check-ins that keep the progress where you put it.
How it works
The DuVela 4R System.
Not a protocol handed to everyone with the same diagnosis. One structure, applied to what your assessment actually shows, so you always know which phase you're in and what it's for.
Phase 01
Reveal
Precise diagnosis. Not guesswork.
Most rehab starts with exercises. We start with clarity.
Reveal is:
- Full movement assessment
- Load tolerance evaluation
- History and goal integration
This is where we identify:
- Why it started
- What's perpetuating it
- What must change
We don't treat pain. We expose the driver.
Phase 02
Restore
Rebuild clean movement.
This is not random strengthening and stretching.
Restore is:
- Normalize joint mechanics
- Improve motor control
- Increase range where it matters
- Improve tissue capacity
This phase reduces symptoms by correcting dysfunction.
Phase 03
Reload
Stress-test the system.
This is where athletes and high performers trust us.
Reload is:
- Progressive loading
- Sport and gym simulation
- Capacity testing
- Confidence rebuilding
We don't discharge when someone feels better. We reload you to real-world demand.
Phase 04
Reinforce
Keep your progress. Build resilience. Perform at your best.
This is prevention done correctly.
Reinforce means:
- Long-term strength and performance programming
- Periodic PT check-ins, plus dry needling and manual therapy
Most rehab stops when the pain does. Reinforce is where we keep going.
There are plenty of YouTube videos with exercises to help fix back pain or knee pain, but most people don't know the right exercise for them. In the office, I first conduct tests to figure out which exercises people need.— Dr. Gong, on why assessment comes first
